Be smart with data! [HU/EN]

The aim of the Be smart with data! project is to promote and encourage the use of (open) data in the Hungarian civil society, and to develop CSOs’ capacities in working with data.

Summary

In the frames of the project we engage with NGOs who are active in diverse fields, so that the benefits of data usage can have an impact in various policy areas. K-Monitor seeks to develop a community of open data users by involving IT experts, designers and data analysts. Through this our aim is also to help organisations to fight for greater transparency and accountability in the various policy fields, and this way extend the fight against corruption to different policy areas. By the end of the cooperation, micro-projects will be developed in the field of the participating organization.

Our international partners in the project are Open Knowledge and Engine Room. The 3 years long project was financed by the Norway Grants.
